Originally from Monterrey, In the XVI edition of the National Singing Competition Carlo Morelli won the granting Ramón Vargas and the next year's 3rd Place and the Opera de Bellas Artes Award. In 1999 she got a scholarship of FONCA (National Fund for Culture and Arts), through which attended the XXXVII International Francisco Viñas Competition in Barcelona, where she won the Virginia Zeani Prize. Likewise she was selected from more than 350 singers in the world to belong to the International Operastudio from the Zürich Operahause during 2 seasons (2000-2002) where she sang in productions of Monteverdi’s “Il Ritorno d'Ulysses in Patria”, Gluck’s “Le Rencontres imprevu” Giordani`s “Fedora” Wolf Ferrari’s “Le Donne Curiose” and Verdi´s “Il Trovatore”,”Rigoletto” and “Nabucco”. In this period she was suported with a scholarship from the Council for Culture of Nuevo Leon, by the Ballet, Música y Canto Assosiation of Monterrey, and by the FONCA for second time. She has sung with several orchestras, among which are the Zurich Opera House, the Ludwigsburg Festival, the Südwestdeutsches Philharmonie Konstanz, Tel Aviv Symphony, the Philharmonic of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (OFUNAM) and the Minería Orchestra, under the baton of conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Nello Santi, Wolfgang Gönnenwein, Stefano Ranzani, Carlos Miguel Prieto, Enrique Barrios and Lorenzo Coladonato, among others. Her repertoire includes a large number of oratorios, from "The Creation" by Haydn to the "Requiem" by Faure. In June 2010 she made her debut as Aida in Verdi's opera in Bad Homburg, Germany. Then she sang a concert with Leo Nucci and Vittorio Grigolo, accompanied by the orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali, conducted by Lorenzo Coladonato. In Torino she sang Contessa de Almaviva from Le Nozze di Figaro and Mimì from La Bohème.

Future engagements include the Galas “Konzert zur Rosenblüte - Klingende Gärten with the Baden-Baderen Philharmonie and The First Lady from The Magic Flute at the Opera Classica Festival in Germany.
